The conference theme is:” Building Bridges to Better Health: Collaborative Approaches in Cancer Care for BME Patients “The day will focus on cancer awareness, support, and improving
outcomes for global majority communities. Through a range of presentations, talks, and interactive stalls, the conference will highlight innovative approaches, community-led solutions, and practical examples of what works in supporting people affected by cancer. The conference aims to create a space where clinical knowledge, community insight, and lived experience come together. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from a diverse range of speakers, connect with local and national organisations, and engage in meaningful conversations about equity, access, and innovation in cancer research, treatment, and support. This event is open to healthcare professionals, community and voluntary sector organisations, partner agencies, and members of the local community. There will be goody bags, free hot lunch and access to thought provoking discussions.

Kingston Conference
The Kingston event built on our earlier successes, highlighting stories of lived experience.
Alongside practical steps for improving inclusion in healthcare, and new partnerships with NHS Trusts and universities.
It marked another step forward in our mission to make BME representation visible across South West London.
Wandsworth Cancer Conference
With more than 200 participants, this conference focused on collaboration between healthcare providers and local communities.
It tackled topics such as prostate cancer awareness, access to palliative care, and addressing trust in healthcare systems.
The King’s Christmas Broadcast features donated Christmas tree.
The King’s Christmas Broadcast was filmed in the Fitzrovia Chapel, London.
Formerly the chapel of Middlesex Hospital, it is now a space for quiet reflection, discovery and celebration, connecting diverse communities from all faiths or none.
In 1928, His Majesty’s grandfather, King George VI, laid the foundation stone of the building.
The featured Christmas tree was donated to Croydon BME Forum and Macmillan Cancer Support’s ‘Can You C Me?’ project and will be placed in the Royal Trinity Hospice, Clapham, the oldest hospice in the United Kingdom.
