Giving Black & minority ethnic communities a voice in Croydon and South West London

Our goal is to address racial disparities in cancer support, amplify the voices of marginalised communities, and emphasise the importance of equality in cancer healthcare and support. We aim to engage with key stakeholders, including medical and healthcare staff, community leaders, workers, organisers, advocates, and service providers.Acts of support, no matter how small, have the power to ease burdens, uplift spirits, and inspire others to do the same. Whether it’s helping a neighbor, donating to a cause.

WHO WE ARE

Can You C Me? is a Macmillan-funded programme delivered by Croydon BMEForum.
We work to reduce inequalities in cancer awareness, cancer support, early diagnosis and access to 
palliative and end-of-life care.

OUR MISSION

To build trust, break down barriers and ensure every voice is heard in the design and delivery of cancer care.

OUR TEAM

Led by a passionate team of four and in partnership with community groups and health professionals, we bring together people with lived experience, researchers, clinicians, local authorities and grassroots leaders.
