Reports and Publications
The Can You C Me? project is all about visibility — recognising the unseen work happening across our communities and celebrating the people driving change.
Each quarter, we share a report highlighting the progress we’ve made, the voices we’ve amplified, and the impact of our collective efforts. These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to representation, inclusion, and empowerment.
The Can You C Me? 2024 Annual Report marks a powerful first year for this ground-breaking project, delivered by the Croydon BME Forum and funded by Macmillan Cancer Support.
Launched to tackle deep-rooted inequalities in cancer care for Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities across South West London, the project has already made a lasting impact — building trust, raising awareness, and amplifying the voices of those too often unheard in healthcare.
Over the past year, the team has engaged thousands through community events, conferences, and one-to-one support, ensuring culturally inclusive and compassionate cancer care becomes the norm, not the exception.
The report highlights inspiring stories, partnerships, and milestones that define our mission to create systemic change — from the success of our Croydon and Wandsworth Cancer Conferences to the lived experiences that continue to guide our work.
As we look ahead to 2025, Can You C Me? remains committed to sustainability, collaboration, and visibility — ensuring every person affected by cancer feels seen, heard, and supported.
Our most recent report captures new milestones, expanded outreach, and growing partnerships that are helping shape the future of visibility and inclusion.
